Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise the food hygiene and safety throughout the production and operation, from Purchasing, Receiving, Sanitation and Production until Consumption to ensure the food hygiene and safety standards in order to produce safe food to avoid any food poisoning cases.

Coordinate between the internal departments such as Culinary, HS Operations, engineering and House Keeping on maintaining the required Statutory i.e. Dubai Municipality and ADAFSA documents requirement for Legal compliance.

Conduct monthly Hygiene Audit in all F&B areas of DEC and release the report to the concerned. Follow up with the Concerned Departments on corrective actions

Maintain the CCP and OPRP records within the Kitchen and Operations 

Monitor the Personal Hygiene, Grooming and maintain the records for Occupational Health Cards for all Food Handlers in coordination with HR department

Handle all Food Safety related Customer complaints, investigate with the guidance from Management and submit the report from the Management to update in customer complaints logs

Monitor the Daily Hygiene standards in the F&B Areas and Outlets.

Conduct the quarterly Inspections in the Outsourced External Food Outlets and Food Trucks and submit the report as per schedule

Support the Exhibitions and Events coverage within DEC.

Required Skills

Diploma level qualification in Microbiology, Food Science, Biotechnology or Life Sciences is a must. University Degree (B.Sc / B.Tech) in Food Hygiene or Food Technology or Microbiology is an added advantage

Minimum 2 years’ experience in 5* Hotel Industries, Hospitality industries or food manufacturing industries or Catering industries in similar position.

Experience in a Convention and Exhibition Centre in a similar role is preferred.

Working knowledge in using computer in MS Office (emails, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), any online Audit system experience is preferable. 

Level 3 Training in Food Hygiene and Safety

Advanced Food Hygiene - Level 4 Training is an added advantage

HACCP / ISO 22000 Trainings

Internal HACCP Auditor’s Training is preferable
