Job Description
Responsibilities:
Inspections & Compliance Monitoring
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled HSE inspections at Client facilities.
Identify non-conformities, unsafe acts/conditions, and report findings to the HSE team.
Verify that corrective actions from audits and inspections are implemented effectively.
Monitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), lock-out/tag-out, and confined space procedures.
Ensure fire protection systems, emergency exits, and safety signage are operational and compliant.
Incident Support & Investigation
Attend incident scenes and assist in gathering evidence and witness statements.
Support HSE team in root cause analysis and identifying corrective/preventive actions.
Participate in emergency drills and evaluate response effectiveness.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed and accurate inspection reports.
Assist in compiling HSE performance data, KPIs, and reports for internal use.
Ensure relevant inspection and audit documents are filed and updated per DHAM policy.
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with Facility Management, Fit-out teams, tenants, and contractors for ongoing compliance.
Provide HSE guidance to contractors during mobilization and de-mobilization.
Support implementation of risk controls during hazardous activities and maintenance work.
Training & Awareness
Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions with workers and contractors.
Support HSE campaigns and engagement programs.
Promote safety culture by recognizing good practices and addressing unsafe behavior.
Required Skills
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environment, or Engineering
NEBOSH IGC / OSHA 30 Hours / equivalent mandatory
First Aid & Fire Safety certified (preferred)
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in site inspections and HSE monitoring
Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards preferred
Sound knowledge of local HSE regulations and risk mitigation practices
Strong observation and reporting skills
Basic knowledge of emergency response and hazardous materials handling
Competency in MS Office and mobile inspection tools
